Mid-Pannon is a core institution of economic development in the region to develop SME support services and provide financing both for SMEs and municipality project development. It has got a long-term experience in the establishment, financing and operation of incubators, industrial parks, technology centres. Since its creation in 1994 it has participated in the development of 6 such initiatives in the region and is currently the owner of 1 incubator and 1 technology centre in partnership with a university and private companies. Consequently, Mid-Pannon definitely has the expertise and skills relevant for the project content and will make use of these in favour of the successful project implementation. The aim of Mid-Pannon is to set up additional parks in close cooperation with regional, national and private actors and to develop further the existing ones. Results of FIDIBE shall support the achievement of it, and Mid-Pannon shall also benefit from working together with its local partners as stakeholders.

Mid-Pannon's previous experience in EU-funded projects:

  • INTERREGIIIC - SEED-REG project as partner, total budget of euro 830.000, total number of 6 partners, development of specific policy instruments for the enhancement and support of innovative enterprises.
  • INTERREGIIIC - MO.DE.LE RFO as participant in two subprojects (1) IN.I.FIN.TO: budget of Euro 551.000, total number of 5 partners, development of regional SME financing tools and (2) Internationalisation Support, total budget of Euro 677.102, 5 partners, new methodologies in investment attraction.
  • INTERREGIIIB (CADSES) - I-LOG project as partner, total Hungarian budget of Euro 230.260, total number of 23 partners, provide SMEs with a set of instruments to rationalize its logistic and transport systems partners.
  • Participation in a wide range of ERDF funded projects on national and regional level in the field of SME support infrastructure development, urban regeneration, SME financing schemes, innovation etc.
